Sewer Blockage Service near Santa Clara

What causes a sewer blockage?
Depending on the location of the blockage, the problems may vary. Here are a few examples of sewer blockages and their locations.

1. Toilet stoppage: These type of stoppages are normally cause by an object getting stuck in the trap of the toilet bowl or a large bowl movement. If a toilet is flushed and its water come out of a shower or tub drain this is an indication that the toilet is not backed up in fact it is the main sewer line with the problem
2. Tub and Shower stoppage: This type stoppage is normally cause by hair builds up in the internal portion of the drain. A simple strainer on the drain may prevent or prolong the stoppage.
3. Vanity sink or Wash Bowl stoppages:  These types of stoppages are caused by slug and or hair builds up. Most of the time the blockage is located in the pop-up assembly area. This type of blockages may be easily cleared with a coat hanger but could be very messy.
4. Kitchen stoppages: A kitchen sinks stoppage is normally cause by grease build up or a rapped overload of your food disposal. You may not be dumping grease in your drain but the grease in the soap you use whether to clean your hands or dishes build up and cause a blockage in time.
5. Main Drain stoppages: A main line normally back up due to root growth by a nearby tree. Other causes include cracks, Breaks and bad slope.

Most stoppages require the use of professional equipment to clear. It is best to call upon a license plumber (Tony's Plumbing Co.) to take care of these stoppages.
